1. Introduction
At Digital Ibtida, we value the trust you place in us when you use our multi-tenant SaaS e-commerce platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information and the business data associated with your online store tenant.
2. Information We Collect
When you register, launch, and manage a store on our platform, we collect the following categories of information:
- Merchant Profile Data: Name, phone number, email address, password hash, and billing configuration.
- Store Setup Details: Store name, custom subdomain, business category (e.g., optical, computer, fashion), and regional settings.
- Fulfillment & Sales Data: Product listings, order histories, customers' shipping and contact information, and billing invoices.
- Financial Ledgers (Khata): Local records of store transactions, expenses, credit balances, and payments synced to your dashboard.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for purposes necessary to run our services, including:
- Provisioning, maintaining, and syncing your cloud storefront tenant.
- Processing store subscription billing and transactions.
- Automating local WhatsApp transaction alerts and invoice receipts for your buyers.
- Improving server performance, dashboard latency, and security patches.
- Providing client technical support and database debugging when requested.
4. Data Storage & Local Hosting
All merchant databases, products, customer profiles, and credit ledger (Khata) records are hosted securely. We employ standard database encryption and network firewall protection to prevent unauthorized access, data loss, or server breaches.
5. Data Sharing & Third-Parties
Digital Ibtida does not sell, rent, or trade your store data or customer information. We only share data with trusted third-party providers essential to your operations:
- Payment Gateways: Safe processing of payments through integrated local networks (e.g. bank API, online wallets).
- Notification APIs: Conveying transactional notifications via WhatsApp or SMTP email gateways.
6. Your Rights & Choice
You have full ownership of your business data. At any time, you can export your products, customers, and financial records via your dashboard control panel. If you choose to terminate your subscription, you may request permanent deletion of your database tenant from our cloud servers.
7. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology or compliance requirements. We will notify you of any significant revisions by posting an update notice on your command hub dashboard.
